Endless adventures await you at our scenic waterfront, Mtn retreat! Close to I70 & just 6 miles to Idaho Springs & Georgetown; you'll enjoy local eateries & activities such as rafting/hiking/biking/ hot springs & more plus private fishing onsite. Or unwind by the River with150 ft of waterfront, & Mtn views galore. Our home boasts two separate living areas; one upstairs & one downstairs, perfect for a single family or multiple families. You can mingle with others or enjoy your own private space.
Property and House Details:
Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of The Rivers Edge, a 1/2-acre property with Clear Creek flowing along the front. Relax by the water with a book, fish for trout, or soak up the sun on the chairs by the riverbank. Or admire the view from the upper deck while hearing the wind, the water, and the wildlife. At night, cozy up around the firepit table with a blue glass rock flame and have a nice meal or chat. The house has been recently renovated to give it a modern mountain vibe. It still has its original mountain charm, but with a fresh look and feel. The kitchen is well equipped and the floor plan is open, so you can cook and socialize easily. The house has enough space for everyone; some can chat upstairs while others play games or watch a movie downstairs.
OUR HOME-
The main level is comprised of a Living room, Kitchen/Dining area, 2 Bedrooms and a Full Bath. One bedroom has a King Bed (pack and play also available) and the other has two Single Beds.
Living room-upper: New 50-inch smart TV. A traditional moss rock fireplace is available for you to use October through April. A unique bar table for two looks out towards the river. This provides additional dining for two, or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a nice glass of wine in the evening. Working remotely, your laptop fits nicely here too.
The Kitchen: Refrigerator, Freezer, Microwave, Oven/Stove, and Dishwasher. Additionally, we provide, a multi-cup coffee pot, French Press, coffee, tea bags, tea kettle, sugar, sugar substitute, powdered creamer, basic spices, cooking oil, full set of pots and pans, bakeware, a blender, hand mixer, 4 slot toaster and a slow cooker. Everything you need to whip up a tasty meal after a long day of activities or plan ahead & come home to a nice slow cooked meal. Graco Hi-chair available for your little one.
Master with King Bed-Upper level includes everything you need for your stay: New black out shades, 32 inch smart TV, full length mirror, sound machine, night light, hamper, luggage rack, closet with hangers and 3 drawer storage, side tables with dimming lights and charging ports. Graco Pack & Play with fitted sheets is also available.
Second Bedroom- Upper level: Another welcoming Bedroom with two single beds, New black out shades, full length mirror, sound machine, night light, hamper, luggage rack and closet with hangers, 3 drawer storage, +additional dresser with charging ports.
Bathroom-Upper level: Shower/Bath combo, double sink vanity, medicine cabinets, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body soap
The lower level is comprised of a Living room, a Flex Space that can be used as a second Dining area with wet-bar and mini-fridge, Game area or Work Space, a Bedroom that has another King Bed, Bathroom, and a Laundry room.
Living room-lower: New 65-inch smart TV and plenty of space to spread out or give the kids their own space. You'll have comfortable furniture and a table that seats up to six, board games, cards and books for children up to 12. You'll also find a wet bar with sink and a mini fridge to keep your drinks cold.
~Both Living rooms are stocked with extra throw blankets to stay warm and cozy throughout your stay.

Garage- Oversized two car garage to keep you and your vehicle dry. Plenty of space to house all your gear. Additional 2 parking spaces at driveway or next to shed.
Wi-Fi speed 1200Mbps/35Mbps
Two security cameras are on & in use at all times. One is on the side of the house facing the side door and driveway. The second camera is in the front area, riverside, facing the front door and garage driveway. These cameras are in use to protect guests, owners and the house when it is vacant. There are no security cameras in the home.
The river sounds are dominant in the front where you will be gathering but I70 is nearby we cannot guarantee you won't hear any traffic. Traffic can be heard on the side & back of house, but these are not gathering spots. Traffic may be heard at night when all is quiet. Sound machines available in Bedrooms.
