We are going into our 11th rental season and love sharing our home with guests! The Retreat has a facelift on the main level with new carpet and flooring throughout! Please note: During the summer months, the Retreat is only available for rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday. June, July, and August. Beaver Dam Lake is a fully recreational lake. This retreat is located on the 'quiet' side, yet is fully recreational. There is great year round fishing, skiing, boating, water craft and winter fun that awaits you. There is a dock/pier and boat lift for your convenience that is available to you as well. The shoreline is a 'zero entry' lake, meaning that the water starts at the shore and gradually gets deeper. There are no drop offs and the lakeshore bottom is sandy with a few rocks. Kids of all ages will enjoy the lake and fishing off the dock as well! The home itself is spacious and updated. Whether you are a small family hanging out, a group scrap booking, or a larger gathering of friends and family, there is perfect space for it all. The main level has large rooms to accommodate the whole clan. When it's time to slow down, there are separate spaces for everyone to enjoy peace and quiet, games, and movies! 2600 feet of relaxation and great space. On the main level: Kitchen, large dining room (seats 8), living room (with fireplace), large 4 season porch (with additional table for 8 and two futons), master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and full bath. On the lower level: Family room (with fireplace), 3rd bedroom (with bunk beds) laundry room, and a 3/4 bath. When (or if) you decide to venture out from 'The Retreat,' there is plenty to do in town. Walk to restaurants/bars, the grocery store, go antiquing, enjoy the playground close by, or cruise in your car to nearby towns and attractions, including the Casino a quick 10 minutes away. Or, bring your bikes to get around on marked paths. Award Winning Louie's Meat Market is minutes away too. Come enjoy our beautiful little town of Cumberland and all that it offers. We are located at 1380 Comstock Ave in Cumberland on Beaver Dam Lake and in Norwegian Bay. We do have two canoes and a paddle boat for guest use at no additional charge. JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, and SEPTEMBER are Saturday to Saturday rentals only, $1495/week plus tax, up to 8 guests, over 8 guests is an additional $20 per person, per night.
