Burgundy Villas presents "Pickwicks Cottage" an authentic property situated in the heart of France's Burgundy countryside.
Pickwicks Cottage is an old stone barn at the end of a small private lane giving you peace and tranquility. The property has a cosy open plan kitchen/sitting room that is well equipped with a couple of armchairs.
For the chillier months there is a wood burning stove that heats the cottage to provide a lovely, cosy home from home!
The room opens on to a secluded terrace that is a wonderful sun trap surrounded by your own delicious fig vine, BBQ and seating area. There are views over the garden and vegetable patch that we welcome you to use. Downstairs there is a large bathroom with a bath and wonderful open shower. The upstairs bedroom is a beautiful space and stretches the length of the cottage. There is a double bed and a cosy seating area with a sofa and television.
For the summer months the swimming pool is shared with the Farmhouse and L’Ecurie. It is set away from all the houses (100 metres) and therefore provides a good privacy for guests. The pool is regularly maintained, cleaned and has an efficient heating system regulating the temperature. The pool house has changing rooms and an undercover eating area.
There is also a WC, shower, changing area and a line for drying wet towels and bathing costumes. Poolside furniture is provided however please bring your own swimming towels.
