Our guests choose us for being one of the most beautiful cabins in the area. Peaceful, private, and oh, so comfortable. A retreat from life's stresses. When you walk in the door you are immediately Wow'd by the mountain view and architecture.
Having outside areas to relax on vacation is important. The back deck has lots of furniture to gaze at the mountains. And, a screened-in porch off the kitchen features an outdoor fireplace and dining table. Think s'mores, snuggling under our fur blankets and enjoying a beverage and good book. Stress melts away, heaven on earth.
Our rustic elegant furnishings & décor is constantly updated (I'm an interior decorator). And the main living area features a stacked stone wood burning fireplace. We provide wood. 3 Bedrooms - a king master suite and a guest queen bedroom are on the main floor each with private baths and upstairs is another king suite, private bath (jacuzzi tub) and loft area. All have comfy beds and great linens. Our fully equipped chef's dream kitchen makes our guests who love to cook so happy. There's a wet bar and a place to sit at the counter as well as a huge farmhouse dining table.
Western NC activities are endless and our central location makes sightseeing easy. We'll provide our list of favorite must see and do's. The best part, is at the end of a fun filled day you will return and retreat from tourism to your home away from home. We are just minutes from downtown Franklin (no scary remote location), restaurants, grocery and activities. Safe, gated Community. Paved roads to paved drive. Message me if you are just one couple, using one bedroom and I'll try to reduce the rate (depending on season).
Come experience great hiking, swimming holes, hike or drive to waterfalls, fishing, rafting/slow river floats, kayaking, gem mining, golf, restaurants & shopping, scenic drives, a photographers dream. Nearby Cullasaja Gorge, heading to Highlands, is one of National Geographic's Drives of a Lifetime. You'll pass 3 waterfalls!

We are particular and the house reflects that. Please Note: We don't allow group parties, reunions, weddings, etc. Maximum occupancy 6 total. Our home is not suitable for children under the age of 4 due to open staircase & loft, no child proof features, discuss ages of children with owner prior to requesting reservation.
Located between Franklin & Highlands NC, groceries (3 mi), downtown Franklin (5 mi), easily accessible, close to US64/US441 interchange. No scary one lane roads. Gated. Paved, Great for Motorcyclists.
Our home It isn't just accented by timber beams and called a timber frame, it is a true timber frame home. Our home won three architectural awards including BEST VACATION HOME. OUR GUESTS TELL US THEY NEVER WANT TO LEAVE and they come back year after year.
