Welcome to Nebraska's aptly named Hidden Paradise. Cottage style Cabins nestled into a Pine filled valley where front yards have been replaced with a crystal clear spring fed stream. Individuals from all walks of life have been vacationing here for over 100 years. We invite you to bring some of the favorite people in your life and share in making memories in our home away from home. We promise it won’t disappoint. About the area... There are 65 cabins in the valley and many have been here for close to 100 years. The cabins are often described by guests as cozy. Time seems to stop in the Valley of Hidden Paradise. If your hoping to get your kids/grandkids off their electronic devices this is the place for you. A trip to Hidden Paradise is a tremendous value as all of the main activities are free; tubing, fishing, hiking, climbing and nature walks on the cowboy trail. The cabin has everything you need to cook/grill and make your own cocktails. Guests rarely if ever have a desire to leave the valley except to get a chicken fried steak or prime rib up town one evening. About the space... The cabin sits on the bend of the Pine creek Rapids. Stream access is right across the bridge. This is an excellent place to hop in the refreshingly cool water on warm days. The cabin itself has been entirely remodeled with updated flooring, paint, trim, fixtures, artwork, bathrooms, beds and a brand new kitchen featuring hickory cabinets, dark counter-tops and a barn wood style backslash. Solid sliding doors are prevalent through out the cabin. The newly added screened in porch overlooks the rapids and is sure to be a hit with a large round patio table that accommodates 10. Opposite the table is a butchers block bar that's prefect for staging appetizers and cocktails before exiting out onto the large two tiered composite deck. On the deck to the right a portable fire pit will greet you, straight ahead is a fantastic sun bathing area and down the steps to the second level is a BBQ/ Smokers Paradise via the Green Mountain Grill. Cocktails on the built in reclining bench are a great way to enjoy the ambiance of the rushing water and reminiscence on the experiences of the day. On rare circumstances we would consider a one night stay during the week depending upon the time of the year so feel free to ask.
