Animal Restriction Policy
1. No Animals Allowed
To protect the health of the homeowners, who suffer from severe asthma and allergies, no animals of any kind are permitted on the property. This includes pets, service animals, and emotional support animals. Their presence creates a direct health risk that cannot be reduced or managed.
2. ADA & NC Law Compliance
This policy aligns with the allowances under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and North Carolina law, which recognize an exemption for property owners when animals pose a legitimate health or safety risk.
3. Violations
Any guest or visitor who brings an animal onto the premises will be asked to remove the animal immediately or leave the property. Violations will result in additional cleaning fees and termination of the rental agreement without refund.

Security Notice
For your safety and the protection of the property, exterior security cameras are installed at the front of the home, facing only the driveway and entry area.
These devices record video only (no audio). In addition, both entry doors are equipped with video doorbells for simple and secure access.
Private Saltwater Pool with Pool Heat Option
- Rate: $45 per night (required for the full stay)
- Weekly Discount: $275 per week
- Hot Tub open year round. Pool open April 1 - October 31.
Our saltwater pool is heated by an electric heat pump, which raises the water temperature to about 10°F above the outdoor air temperature. Please keep in mind that Outer Banks weather can be unpredictable; cooler days or rain may affect how warm the pool feels.
Pool heat is switched on 24–36 hours before check-in. Once activated, we cannot offer refunds (full or partial) for weather conditions or water temperature preferences.
If you wish to cancel pool heat, written notice must be provided at least 48 hours before 4:00 PM on your scheduled check-in day so we can adjust with our pool service provider.
