Park in the heated underground garage, take the elevator up one level and drop your ski gear in the ski locker, just feet away from the condo door. Enter the unit and hang your coats and kick off your boots in the custom entryway. Step in, relax and enjoy. In the mornings, grab your gear from the locker and head out the rear entrance to the end of the Out To Lunch trail that runs behind the condo for a short walk or ski to the rest of the resort. Out to Lunch and Easy Rider trails will bring you home later. Return for lunch or eat at the many mountain options that are available. Share meals prepared in the roomy kitchen and family game nights on the large dining room table with plenty of space for everyone. Enjoy your apres-ski in front of the the fireplace or out on the deck taking in the incredible mountain views. Sugarbush Resort has fine dining at Timbers and the Castlerock Pub is available for lighter fare. There is also the Skinny Pancake open in the morning and afternoon. The famous Chez Henri is just to your left over the covered pedestrian bridge as are The Reks pub, Mutha Stuffers sandwich shop and Pizza-Soul takeout for food options. Mountainside Ski Shop is in that same direction for easy ski rentals and gear. It's just a short drive down the access road to enjoy the Mad River Valley. Turn left toward Waitsfield where you'll find two grocery stores and many local shops and restaurants. American Flatbread is an enjoyable family experience not to be missed. Turn right towards the quaint town of Warren with it local stores and inn. You will be able to find all of the supplies you need in either direction. The Mad River Valley is not only a winter destination. The mountains have many activities to be enjoyed in the summer and fall as well. The Sugarbush Golf Club is an enjoyable tract. (Cross-coutry, snow-shoeing and sledding may be enjoyed on the course in the winter.) Glider rides at the nearby airport are best taken amidst the peak of fall colors. Hiking year round along the many trails including the Long Trail will provide breath-taking views. Downhill mountain biking and scenic lift rides are available right at Sugarbush Resort next door. There is always time to fit in a workout at the SHARC (Sugarbush Heath and Racquet Club) which is a short walk away. Blueberry Lake is a great place for paddling or SUP aerobics or mountain biking. The farmers' market in Waitsfield runs all summer to October. And there's a whole lot of family fun to be had tubing down the Mad River or jumping in the many inviting swimming holes. The resort puts on an incredible fireworks shows (and torchlight parades in winter) during holidays year-round that you won't have to fight traffic to come see.
