The houseboat sits on a canal on 17 acres of private property on the Westfork of the Calcasieu River. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and sounds of the outdoors while barbecuing, kayaking, fishing, boating etc..The houseboat stays docked permanently but the property offers a private boat launch if you choose to bring a boat with you. The houseboat sleeps 4 people comfortably with a queen bed and a trundle bed with 2 twins. The kitchen is fully equipped with extras such as crock pot, rice cooker, keurig, microwave, stove, oven, utensils, glassware, plates, cooking utensils etc..The living area has 2 sofas and a smart tv and WiFi availability. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, washcloths and a few extras! The outdoor area consists of a floating dock to sit on or fish from, gas grill and 4 kayaks. Although remotely located the property is only minutes from a grocery store, golf courses, casinos and all that Westlake and Lake Charles have to offer.
