The old rectory and coach house are situated in 10 acres of woodland and have extensive grounds, including lawns and flower borders, a walled kitchen garden, and a swimming pool . The former village hall which is an old stone barn, has a small stage and is ideal for music and dancing and can also be used as a games room. There is an outdoor conservatory with dining for large groups. The rectory itself has 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 16; 4 doubles, one of which is entered through a bedroom with twin beds, and there is another twin bedded room as well as a large room with 4 beds. In the adjacent coach house there are 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 12: 3 double bedrooms, one of which is also entered through a room with 4 beds and there is another room with twin beds. There are several living rooms as well as a book filled study and a snooker room and each house has a large kitchen with an Aga and alternative cooker and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The rectory is about half a mile from the village of Pyworthy which has an excellent pub with good meals. The small market town of Holsworthy is 3 miles away and the North Cornwall coast with its excellent surfing and spectacular coastal path is 8 miles away. There are opportunities for golf in Bude, for horse riding on the coast and on Dartmoor, and idyllic beaches tucked away up and down the Devon and Cornwall coast. The swimming pool is heated with a heat exchange pump and is operational from May to September. The rectory is the perfect place for parties and celebrations, or for the extended family or friends to get together and spend time in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
