Summary: The first time we stayed at the Comfort Suites it surprised me how nice everything was. This time was weird, and not as good of a stay. About 1:30 AM or so I smelt pot coming through either the vents or the hallway (I couldn't be sure), but someone was most definitely smoking and it came wafting into where my 5 year old twins were sleeping. The next morning, we woke up and went to go to breakfast and the elevator was broken. There was a sign where someone had hand written: if you aren't a guest at the hotel you can't eat breakfast. Along with a few other handwritten notes around the breakfast area indicating there have been issues with people intruding and taking advantage. I'm not sure what's up, but as a mom who travels solo with her young ones, it was unnerving. I'm not sure what's up, but its obvious something has shifted, or perhaps our first stay was just a weird occurrence and this was normal. Either way, management should definitely look into what's happening here and get it fixed ASAP. It's unnerving and staying somewhere affordable where we also feel safe is typically a priority for the adults of this world.
