Low Jock Scar cottages are set in an idyllic riverside setting, surrounded by 6 acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands. We are situated north of Kendal near the A6, in the Lake District National Park, 5 miles from the market town of Kendal. Easy access from the M6.
Plenty of secluded parking. No pets please. Lovely gardens to be enjoyed. Mid- Week breaks available Mon- Thursday

Summary: We had an amazing stay in the cottage with our children. The facilities and surroundings were beyond our expectations. The cottage was very spacious and had all we needed with great views in every direction. The hot tub was great way to wind down and relax in the evenings. Both Daryl and Kerith were very welcoming and always tips and ideas on where to visit. We had some lovely conversations with them and its clear to see how much time and effort they have invested in this lovely estate. The location is also close to all the main attractions and only a short drive to the Kendal and Windemere. There are many nearby trails which are worth exploring. Ambleside is definitely worth a visit. We hope to come back and we wish both Daryl and Kerith the very best.
